Chief Minister Siddaramaiah Wishes Swift Recovery for COVID-19 Positive Governor

Bengaluru: On Tuesday, Thawar Chand Gehlot, the Governor of Karnataka, was confirmed positive for Covid-19 in Bengaluru, as reported by his office. Currently, he is in stable condition and undergoing quarantine at Raj Bhavan.

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah extended his wishes for the Governor’s swift recovery. In response to the situation, the Karnataka government has recommended that senior citizens and pregnant women wear masks when in public areas. Additionally, the state health department has been instructed to enhance the volume of COVID-19 tests conducted throughout the state.
